Cable reels can be divided into different types according to different standards, providing power for large mobile devices or cable winding devices that control power and signals.

According to the driving form, it can be divided into two categories: electric and non electric. Electric cable reels mainly rely on electrical methods such as electric motors, frequency converters, or hysteresis devices to achieve winding and release, and are suitable for occasions with large specifications, large strokes, and high speeds. Electric cable reels include: magnetic coupling type (JQD), torque motor type (KDO), variable frequency control type (BP), and hysteresis type (CZ).

According to the winding material, it can be divided into cable reel and hose reel. Cable reels are mainly used for transmitting electricity or signals, while hose reels are mainly used for transmitting liquids or gases.
